Schultz pulls Hitmen even
CALGARY — More than 60 minutes of work and a two-goal rally were undone in a span of less than two minutes for the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday night.
Brandon took back-to-back penalties in overtime and paid the price as Ian Schultz scored on the 5-on-3 to lift the Calgary Hitmen to a 3-2 overtime victory over the Wheat Kings at the Pengrowth Saddledome, tying their Western Hockey League Eastern Conference final 1-1.
